Watching my garden grow
OK, lets just say I have pretty much always been a black thumb...everything I have ever tried to grow has died a slow (and sometimes fast) painful death. But after my sucess with my rose, I have branched out a little...hehehe. A while back I planted Lilies...sucess, and then tomatoes...another sucess, (the stawberries haven't been so lucky), but never the less today Ronin and I potted five different citrus trees.....something I never would have EVER attemped to grow before, so fingers crossed

I agree with Genette! I've a HUGE crock pot that cooks just like a crock pot on steroids, lol. I always cut the cooking time of any recipe, especially ones that do not fill up my whole crock pot (most recipes don't), by AT LEAST a 3rd.
..sometimes half. After i 1st recieved my crock pot being a gift I used to be working complete time and I can't tell you how a lot of instances I arrived home to more than cooked meals or mushy veggies. I have learned to either double the recipe so the crock pot is complete, cut the cooking time, or turn the crock pot down (mine could nonetheless roast a turkey on the "keep warm" function, lol) to acheive the right meal.
